God Loves You

Sometimes, it's the most difficult thing to accept.  Sometimes, it's the hardest thing to believe.

But it's true.

God loves you.

And it is unconditional.  God loves you no matter what.  No matter what your sin, no matter what your stain, no matter what your guilt.

God loves you.

There is no creed to take.  There is no one path to God. All it requires is an open heart and acceptance that you have been given a gift, a gift of grace, of caring, of understanding, of comfort.

God loves you.

It does not absolve you of the consequences of your sins.  It does not relieve you of the necessity of repentance and restitution.  But you are not alone when you do so.  You walk with God's love, forgiveness, and strength.

God loves you.

When you let the light of God's love shine in your life, it will shine on others. The greatest reflection of our love of God is the light that shines on others.  When you love your fellow man, it is the love of God that is flowing through you.

God loves you.

And the more we let that light shine through, the closer we are to the kingdom of Heaven on Earth,  As the Lord's Prayer goes, "Our God, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name, Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven."
