| This is our new foster dog, Tootsie. We are keeping her short term, as the Okefenokee Humane Society looks to make rescue and/or permanent adoption arrangements. She is an extremely sweet tempered dog , and is of of medium size and build. She is a little shy at first, but quickly gains confidence in a friendly environment. The steps you see behind you is so that our little Chihuahua mix, Pixie Dust, can get up and down the bed if she wants to. Interestingly, I have also seen Tootsie use the steps. I don't think I've ever seen a dog as bright and intelligent in picking things up. |

| Tootsie loves to play with toys, both by herself and our other dogs, She blends in with our other dogs perfectly, and gets along with us, likes human, although gets a little skittish when people are loud. She is a little afraid of our cat. That's okay. I'm a little afraid of our cat. But their relationship is improving over time. At least they are getting better at ignoring each other. |
