Scrooge Floats! One More Weekend to See A Christmas Carol!

Scrooge floats!  Our cast and crew gather together at the WACT float getting ready for the Waycross Holiday Parade. or Christmas Parade, or Winter Solstice March...or...well, you get the idea.  Front and center are two of our gifted young thespians, Marisa Williams as the Ghost of Christmas Past and Alec Bunkley as either Fred or Ebenezer.  Marisa also later in the show plays Charwoman,  Her transformation is stunning.  To me, one of the best parts of this year's edition of A Christmas Carol is that many of the actors get to display diverse talents by playing multiple roles.  My own son Benjamin plays four different parts.  Patrick Finn is among those who do a particularly entertaining job of playing multiple characters, from the jolly upper middle class Fezziwig, to the rough black marketeer Old Joe, playing him with a delightful rough London/Cockney accent.

Another picture featuring Marisa Williams and Alec Bunkley.  Marisa is a senior at Ware County, and an ward winning Regional One Act actress. She intends to pursue musical theater in college, and has the fire and ability to do it.  Alec is at Pierce County High School and in addition to theater, is a percussionist in the band, and is a genuine video game champion, with the trophies and prizes to prove it.

Three more chances to see A Christmas Carol!  Don't miss this marvelous holiday kick starter!  Thursday December 12, Friday and Saturday night at 8 PM at the Ritz Theater in Downtown Waycross!  Tickets $10,
